Entry Point 3: Taman Safari Zoo

 There was a chance to pet these guys above at a petting farm towards the end of the zoo. They're friendly but.. If you don't watch it - they could gorge you with their horns.

 Yep, this is how close these guys get to the car. Also very friendly.

Purple & Long

 These guys are interestingly within the same family as deer. Same organs and all of that apparently.

 I won't lie, I was pretty tempted to do this myself. Though I felt like everything coming out of a window was fair game, "I'll pass".

A nicely camouflaged crocodile here, took me a while to spot the babies.. (they're not in this pic I don't think..)

 Felt like this had a cool Mayan overtone too it, all fake though : {

 Sleeping big cat, couldn't tell if his/her eyes were open or closed. Look at those paws pheww!

 Your guess is as good as mine. .

 The Australian Pelican or something of the rather.. Humongous wing span on this bloke

For some reason this reminded me of the tree in the backyard of the place I was staying at. Not quite as colorful though

Oddly enough this felt like I was holding my son, don't ask me why. Look at that smile :)

Chill little guy

Apparently you could ride these guys for $20 (200,000RP). I was just shy of having that, a little miffed - but its all good. Nice experience regardless.

She was counting the toes I think

 Yep, these guys love carrot's

 It was either this elephant or another one, but he could tell I had a few more carrot's in my bucket and kept pushing me for more (literally) haha. I was trying to make my way to the other elephant's in the ring - but he wouldn't have it.. So I shook my head "No" and pushed his trunk aside and started pointing to the others in the ring. He still didn't care ; /

Vibrant colors on every feather

(Wanted to get a better video, but it was a pretty tight space and cars were honkin at us.. They were going in paces though)

The people who I went with, Mohammad on the left and Ayu on the right. Good people, real friendly and spoke fairly good English. That's not always common in Jakarta - Bali is a different story though.

"The skin is just as it looks: slippery & wet!"

"That monkey from Lion King"; that was his name apparently

 Thought I mix things up and go for a ride. It felt like I was riding a slow horse. At least this one didn't sneeze in my face, that much I am grateful for ; }

Next Up Bali ....
